Founded by Andrea Achilles, Kindred Roots was created from a deep desire to offer more than just a salon visit — it’s a space for renewal, connection and conscious self-care.
We honour the whole person, using natural, organic and low tox products and colour lines that nurture the hair, scalp and spirit. Every service is approached mindfully, with an emphasis on sustainability, energy balance and inner harmony.

Owner, Holistic Hairstylist
I’m a mother of four and a wife to my high school sweetheart, and I am deeply rooted in both family life and my work behind the chair. With 20 years in the hair industry, I am a multi- passionate hairstylist (and human!) who loves cutting, custom colouring and bridal styling. I will always say yes to a big colour or cut transformation, but I also love honing in on your natural colour/texture and growing out your grey hair. I have a deep appreciation for scalp rituals as a way to connect back to ourselves and bring a calm, caring and restorative service into the salon experience.
I have always been drawn to a more natural and intentional way of living. That love for simplicity, wellness and cleaner living is what inspired me to open a holistic hair salon. I wanted to create a space out of authenticity, where hair is cared for without compromise and where products align with both health and beauty.
I work with and love the Innersense Organic Beauty line, along with other natural and organic products for hair and skin.
I opened Kindred Roots in November 2025 as a nurturing and calm salon space where clients are invited to pause, be cared for and experience hair and soul services in a more grounded and intentional way.
Andrea Achilles
Holistic Hairstylist
Pauline grew up rurally north-west of Stratford and now lives in town with her three boys and partner. Deeply connected to the magic of Mother Nature, she spends much of her time outdoors with her family.
Over the last 25 years, Pauline has continued to develop skills in hair colouring, cutting, barbering and scalp massage. With recent training in somatic scalp therapy, Pauline’s new favourite offering is the Crown Opening Scalp Ritual.
Her experience in the hair industry has benefited her evolution and transformation alongside her own healing journey. You can feel her deep sense of love and gratitude for every client in her chair. Her passion lies in using her intuitive and healing gifts. She understands the individual importance of her clients feeling aligned and supported in big changes or regular trims. Always honouring that a moment to sit can add connection, balance and overall wellbeing to ones experience. She invites you to take a moment to sit in her chair so you too can leave feeling grounded, supported and beautiful.
Pauline is inspired and excited to have an opportunity to work alongside Andrea, helping bring her vision of Kindred Roots to life.

Ange is the owner and practitioner of
Wild Rebirth Wellness, located inside Kindred Roots.
Ange’s offerings include intuitive energy healing, Reiki, lymphatic drainage massage and holistic facials designed to support deep restoration of the mind, body and energy. Her approach weaves together natural and holistic modalities to help reduce stagnation, support the body’s natural detoxification processes to bring you back into balance.
Each session is intentional, grounding and tailored to what you need in the moment — whether that’s relaxation, release or reconnection.
She believes healing isn’t rushed. It’s a journey. And she is here to hold space and walk alongside you as you come back to yourself.
